The Katy Freedom Celebration will showcase a day filled with activities from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. provided by the Katy Fire Department, Katy Heritage Society and Heritage Park, VFW Lodge and Katy Parks and Recreation. Attractions will include:

• vehicle extrications
• visits from US Army and Marine representatives
• fire station tour, water hose playtime and free hotdogs at the Fire Station
• lemonade, family pictures, BBQ plate lunches for sale, live and silent auctions, bounce houses, games, ice cream, cotton candy at the VFW Park

The evening will end with a glorious fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. on the east side of Katy Mills Mall.  For additional information, contact the Parks and Rec Department at 281.391.4840.
