In its 43rd year, Holiday on the Plaza is a family classic. We are partnering with Katy Market Days to combine Holiday on the Plaza with A Katy Old-Fashioned Christmas. The events will start at noon and the Christmas Tree Lighting program will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Harvest Plaza. The official lighting of the City Christmas Tree and photos with Katy’s Santa Claus are sure to create treasured memories. The Parks and Recreation Department will have booths with holiday activities for children including letters to Santa, making your own Christmas Ornaments and Reindeer food! Photos with Santa are available for $5. The event hosts local entertainment from local school and church choirs to roving carolers.
