With the heavy rains overnight, there are high-water events all over the metro. Several have asked if the ponds can't be lowered as Jim Zwernemann has told everyone that the levels could be adjusted for just such events. I suspect that the levels in our ponds are determined by the level in Buffalo Bayou, however, and that's also full.
